IMS Mainframe Specialist (m/w/d)

To support a well-known customer, we are looking for you, a Mainframe IMS Specialist (m/f/d) in full-time or part-time at the Essen location.
Your tasks:
Responsibility for the IMS software lifecycle management: installation, upgrade and maintenance of the software
Exploration of new product features for continuous optimization
Third-level support for software errors
Contact person for customers when using the software products
Implementation of change and problem handling
Configuration and customization of software products
Setting up parameters and carrying out reorganizations, health checks, etc.
Communication with customers and providers
Your qualification:
Experience as an IMS system programmer or experience in a similar position
Experience in 3rd level support
IMS Level 3 system program skills
Proficiency in installation, maintenance, problem diagnosis and administration of IMS DB
Experience communicating with customers and vendors
Strong analytical skills
Strong service orientation and problem solving skills
